    • Climate change affects us all, worldwide. The consequences of global warming are already noticeable: Increasingly high temperatures, droughts, floods, rising sea levels and a decline in biodiversity are threatening nature, humans and animals. Our societies and the way we live together must change fundamentally in order to counteract the existential threat of climate change. Therefore, the European Union has adopted an ambitious plan: the European Green Deal. This is a set of policy initiatives designed by the European Commission. The overall aim of it is for Europe to become the first climate-neutral continent.
